1.1 These terms apply when you use our website or our matching service. Please read them before sending us an enquiry. By sending an enquiry, you agree to them.
1.2 They’re written in plain English. Nothing in them affects your legal rights as a consumer.
2.1 We are Eco Funding Solutions Ltd ("EFS", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 13274314. Our registered office is 2 Frederick Street, London, WC1X 0ND.
2.2 You can contact us by email at info@ecofundingsolutions.co.uk, by phone on 02921 052912, or by post at our registered office.
2.3 We’re a matching service, not an installer. We don’t survey, supply or fit windows or doors ourselves. We’re not a government grant, an ECO scheme or a lender.
3.1 How it works. You tell us about your home through our website. We then call you to book a free survey. On that call, we tell you which approved installer covers your postcode. If you agree, we pass your details to that installer, who confirms your appointment by WhatsApp the day before, surveys your home and gives you a fixed price in writing.
3.2 One installer. We pass your details to one installer only, and only if you agree on our call.
3.3 It’s free for you. We don’t charge you for our service. Installers pay us a fee for each introduction. This fee doesn’t change the price you’re quoted.
3.4 No obligation. The survey and quote are free, and you don’t have to go ahead.
3.5 Our installer standards. Every installer we work with has agreed with us to:
3.6 If an installer doesn’t meet these standards, please tell us (see clause 10). We’ll take it up with them.
3.7 When we can’t help. We can’t always match you with an installer, for example if no installer covers your address or your property isn’t suitable. If that happens, we’ll tell you.
4.1 You can use our service if:
4.2 Whether your property is suitable for installation is confirmed by your installer at the survey.
4.3 We don’t carry out any income, employment or credit checks.
5.1 Who you contract with. If you decide to go ahead, your contract for the supply and fitting of windows and doors is with your installer, not with us. The installer is responsible for the survey, quote, products, installation, aftercare and guarantee.
5.2 Your quote. Your installer gives you a fixed written price after the survey. It stays valid for 28 days from the date you receive it. What you pay is the price on your written quote.
5.3 Your installer’s terms. Your installer will give you their own terms and conditions and privacy notice before you sign. Please read them carefully.
5.4 Your right to cancel. If you sign a contract in your home, you have 14 days to cancel it without giving a reason and without charge. Your installer must give you written details of this right and a cancellation form before you sign.
5.5 Your guarantee. Your installer gives you a 10-year guarantee, insurance-backed for its full term through an approved insurance provider. You’ll receive the insurance certificate with your paperwork. The insurance protects your guarantee if your installer stops trading. Full details are in the guarantee and insurance documents your installer gives you.
5.6 Payment and finance. Any payment terms are agreed between you and your installer. We don’t offer or arrange finance.
6.1 The offer. If you accept your installer’s written quote within 28 days of receiving it, the windows in your order are upgraded from double glazing to triple glazing at no extra cost.
6.2 What it covers. The upgrade applies to windows only. It doesn’t apply to:
These stay double glazed.
6.3 Your quote shows what qualifies. Your installer will tell you at the survey which of your windows qualify, and your written quote will show which windows are triple glazed.
6.4 Genuinely free. Your quote is priced the same as it would be for double glazing. Installers must not increase the price of any other part of your order to cover the upgrade.
6.5 How to claim. You don’t need to do anything extra. Accept your installer’s written quote within 28 days of receiving it, and the upgrade is included.
6.6 Who provides it. The upgrade is provided and funded by your installer. If an installer doesn’t honour it, please tell us (see clause 10).
6.7 No cash alternative. The upgrade can’t be exchanged for cash or a discount.
6.8 Changes to the offer. We may end or change this offer for new enquiries. If we do, we’ll update our website. It won’t affect any quote you’ve already received, as long as you accept it within 28 days.
7.1 We’ll provide our matching service with reasonable care and skill, and do what we say in these terms.
7.2 We check that installers meet our standards before we work with them. However, your installer is an independent business, and they’re responsible for their survey, quote, products, installation, aftercare and guarantee. We’re not responsible for the work they carry out, but we’ll help if something goes wrong (see clause 10).
7.3 We’re not responsible for losses that weren’t foreseeable when you used our service, or losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.
7.4 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for:
8.1 Please give us accurate information when you fill in our form. If your details are wrong, we may not be able to help.
8.2 You must only send an enquiry for yourself and your own home. Don’t send an enquiry using someone else’s details.
8.3 You must not misuse our website, for example by trying to gain unauthorised access, introducing viruses or other harmful material, or using automated tools to send enquiries.
8.4 The content of our website, including text, images and logos, belongs to us or our licensors. You may view and print it for your own personal use, but not copy or reuse it for any other purpose.
8.5 Information on our website is for general guidance. For example, energy savings from new windows depend on your home. Your installer will give you the details that apply to you.
8.6 Reviews on our website are from genuine homeowners who used our service, shown with their permission. We don’t edit reviews to change their meaning or hide less positive ones.
8.7 We try to keep our website available and accurate, but we can’t promise it will always be available, error-free or up to date.
8.8 Our website may link to other websites, such as your installer’s. We’re not responsible for their content.
9.1 Our Privacy Policy explains how we use your personal information, including how we only pass your details to your installer if you agree on our call. Our Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies.
9.2 If you tick the box to hear about our future offers, we’ll send them by email and text. You can unsubscribe at any time.
10.1 About us. If you’re unhappy with our service, please contact us using the details in clause 2.2. We’ll acknowledge your complaint promptly and work to resolve it as soon as reasonably possible.
10.2 About your installer. If you’re unhappy with your installer, please raise it with them first, as your contract is with them. If they don’t meet the standards in clause 3.5 or don’t honour the triple glazing upgrade in clause 6, tell us and we’ll take it up with them.
10.3 Your installer is FENSA or CERTASS registered, and those bodies can help with certain issues about installation and building regulations. Details are in your installer’s paperwork.
10.4 If we can’t resolve a complaint, you can contact Citizens Advice for free advice on 0808 223 1133, or take the matter to court.
11.1 Changes to these terms. We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or our service. The version on our website when you send your enquiry applies to you.
11.2 If part of these terms is invalid. If a court decides any part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
11.3 Other people. These terms are between you and us. Nobody else has any rights under them.
11.4 Which law applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales.
